About The ReStore

Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region runs and supports two ReStore locations in the Waterloo and Cambridge areas to help provide you with the materials you need, and families in need with housing for years to come.

What is a ReStore?

ReStores are home and building supply stores that accept and resell quality new and used furniture, appliances, décor, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Shopping at a Habitat ReStore is a socially conscious decision, as funds generated are used to fund Habitat for Humanity homebuilding projects in your community. It’s also an environmentally conscious one, as much of what is sold is new or gently used products that might otherwise end up in a landfill.

Everything available at ReStores has been donated by members of the community or local businesses. Whether you’re planning to declutter your home or need a solution for overstock product, our ReStores can help. Your donation will help support local families, instead of ending up in the landfill.

Our Habitat ReStores accept donations of new and gently-used furniture, appliances, décor, building materials, and more.

While the ReStore is happy to accept good quality, new and gently-used materials, there are times when we cannot accept certain items due to age, condition, space, and marketability. Check our list of accepted items for details or give us a call.
